Procedure and notification
90 Day notifications can be done using one of the following methods:
- Foreign individuals can go to the immigration bureau or office of the province of their residence and do the process in person.
- Foreign Individuals can authorize a person with a power of attorney document to do the process for them.
- Relevant Visa holders can also do the notification through registered mail address
Offices accepting notification
- Immigration Division1 Office, The Government Complex,Chaengwattana Rd., Laksi ,Bangkok
- One Stop Center for Visa and Work Permits located at Chamchuri Square Buliding , Floor 18, Phayathai Rd. Phatumwan, Bangkok (Only the specific law) Services are provided only to foreigners who have already submitted an application for temporary stay in the kingdom of Thailand.
- Immigration Service Center for 3 National Legalized Labors (Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia) at Major Hollywood Suksawat or Imperial World Ladprao Only special Labor of three Nationalities Loas , Cambodia and Mynmar residing in Bangkok.
- Immigration offices throughout the country
Please note that the notifications must be done a week before or after the expiry date (within 15 days) and your first application of extension will be counted as your first notification of stay in Thailand. In addition, people who leave the country and return with the same visa, will have their notification day count reset to day 1 upon arrival.
Foreigners who fail to report their 90 day residence report within the period mentioned above will be fined 2,000 Baht. If the individual is arrested and he or she fails to provide proof of the report, the will be fined 4,000 baht
