By careful studying of vintage military shirts, Kato has infused some of the essential “DNA” of the originals into the ultimate workshirt. Being true to Kato form, they wanted this piece to be as comfortable as it is tough, so they used a 97% cotton, 3% Polyurethane fabric that has a bit of give where it is needed.This fabric has been pigment dyed using the garment dying method. This creates the aged look of the vintage military shirts that are treasured by collectors.

Inspired by the classic and rugged vintage workwear shirt, The Brace is built tough but keeps the comfort you expect from Kato. Triple stitching on the shoulders, back and side seams and the bar tacked reinforced pockets adds unparalleled strength to this shirt. The discreet and easily accessible pen pocket gives The Brace a nice detail.
