Retirement Visa NON-IMMIGRANT O

Thailand Retirement visa is to be considered for foreigners over the age of 50 who are interested in living in the kingdom for long periods. The documents required for the process are financial statements that belong to a savings account or a bank deposit of at least 800,000 THB or the salary of 65,000 THB per month and the total salary of 800,000 THB in the course of one year to be submitted to the Thailand’s immigration officials.

Foreigners who are granted this visa will be permitted to stay in the kingdom of Thailand for a period of 1 year. Moreover, if you are able to acquire multiple retirement visa, you won’t need to apply for a re entry permit before leaving the kingdom.

Getting this type of visa may sound easy but that is not really the case. There is a rigid process in place for applicants to be accepted and you are likely to need a lawyer to help you with this.
